The Asia Think Tank Summit has taken place in Seoul

The fourth Asia Think Tank Summit has taken place at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) from June 8 till 10. The meeting was a platform for discussions among leading think tanks in the Asia-Pacific region on regional and global issues as well as ways to resolve them amid the changing global order. Its fourth round was co-hosted by the KNDA’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS), the Korea Development Institute (KDI) and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). At the closed-door meeting, some 80 delegates from think tanks in 40-odd countries discussed “the role of think tanks as catalysts for analyzing and implementing policies in order to attain sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Asia.”

Dr. Vugar Bayramov, CESD Chairman, has invited to the summit as one of speakers. It should be noted here that CESD is the top think tank in Central Asia and Caucasus according to the Global Think Tank Rankings by University of Pennsylvania (USA).
