Top UK Universities Students to Start Internship at the CESD

CESD- Center for Economic and Social Development (Azerbaijan) has been included in the list of host partner organizations of CEEELBAS in UK. Agreement was reached between CESD and CEELBAS in August, 2012 (http://www.ceelbas.ac.uk/internships/).  CEELBAS is a partnership of the top universities of UK Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester, Bath, Birmingham, Kent, Sheffield, Warwick and SOAS and UCL.  Students and Researchers of top UK universities will have opportunity to have paid internship at the CESD starting fall of 2012.

Postgraduate and early-career researchers from any of the CEELBAS partner universities are invited to apply for funding to undertake research internships outside of the Higher Education sector.  Internship projects are designed to bring genuine benefits to both the researcher and the host organisation, and offer the chance to develop or apply research findings whilst acquiring new insights and transferable skills. Internships may last between one and three months, host organisations may be based in the UK or overseas, and available funding includes stipends and travel bursaries.

For CEELBAS call, funding is restricted to internships with the host organisations detailed below. Unless otherwise indicated, the precise nature and duration of the internship is left open for discussion between the applicant and the host organisation. Applications should be submitted with the support and endorsement of both an academic supervisor and a mentor from the proposed host organisation.
