SOCAR increases oil exports from Novorossiysk port

The Marketing and Economic Transactions Office of the Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) in September exported 159,600 tonnes of crude oil from the Novorossiysk port.

This figure is 29,955 tonnes or 23% more compared to August, Gun.Az reports, referring to the company’s website. In September, SOCAR exported 322,980 tonnes of crude oil from the Supsa port, while 1,654,929 from the Ceyhan port.

Oil exported in August from the Supsa port totaled 242,127 tonnes, from the Ceyhan port – 1,612,147 tonnes.  In January-September in general, the Novorossiysk port exported 1,434,195 tonnes, Supsa port – 2,176,887 tonnes,  Ceyhan port – 15,205,602 tonnes of crude oil. The figures of crude oil exported by the Marketing and Economic Transaction Office reflect crude oil belonging both to the Azerbaijani state and SOCAR.
