“Managing staff and volunteers in CSOs in Azerbaijan” Workshop was Held in Baku

Center for Economic and Social Development (CESD) held next workshop serious which titled as “Managing staff and volunteers in CSOs in Azerbaijan” on 22nd August, 2013 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The event was organized within the framework of the “Strengthening the capacities of the National Platforms of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum ENPII2012/304-324” (EaP CSF) project. Trainers were Rafiga Hamzayeva and Javid Nadirov. The main aim of informing audience of the activity of Human Resource managers, the definition of Human Resource Management, its features, the history of HR emergence in NGOs and CSOs in the world and their formation process in Azerbaijan.

The presentation followed by a wide description of Human Resource management in Azerbaijan, Human Resource managers’ activity in international and local companies in Azerbaijan, Human resource managers’ role in the managing working staff and volunteers in local and international CSOs in Azerbaijan, the current status of Human Resource management in the country, its perspectives, problems and challenges in its development. Different stakeholders of the topic took active part in discussions.

In total, more than 25 various interested individual actively participated at the workshop.
