The aim of the study is to assess the state of the textile industry of Azerbaijan, analyze the efficient use of domestic resources and evaluate ts development.  The results obtained in this study and the proposals put forward can contribute to the implementation of measures to accelerate the development of the textile industry of Azerbaijan, improve the living standards of the population, and increase employment in the country. The article uses pictures, tables and diagrams to ensure the clarity of the results. The study puts forward priority proposals to achieve sustainable development of the textile industry, which consist of increasing the economic potential of this sector in the country and turning it into a textile exporter in the future.
